Williamsbug VA Area?

Just back from a 4 day trip. We love Williamsburg and BG.

Have you thought about a day at Virginia beach? It's only an hour drive, and really added an enjoyable day to your trip. We have also done Jamestown and Yorktown, although preferred Jamestown quite a bit more. There are also a number of things to do in the area many never think of. On our last trip, we went to the Mariners museum - http://www.marinersmuseum.org/

We went there on a whim, and the kids LOVED it. (10 year old girl and 4 year old boy). It's a really cool place with a lot to look at, and very reasonable in price).

Have fun - it's our favorite "non Disney" mini vacation area.

Aw, have fun!

We just left at a normal time coming back home to NJ, around 10 or so, after checkout. We hit traffic, but it was the construction on 95, not related to the DC traffic.

thanks guy!! the DIS rocks!! well we went to the Living Museum yesterday and the girls LOVED it! we were going to BG today but it's raining really hard so we are stuck in the room right now, not much to do until the rain stops
