WillI my FP+ reservations cancel if I cancel my room?

thinking about canceling a DVC reservation because I see a great deal for POFQ. It is for next month and I already have many FP+ booked. Will they cancel out? I need to fully cancel my DVC reservation and then I'll book the other reservation tomorrow.

Also, will I need new MagicBands?​

If you are within 30 days they will still be in your MDE. If you're between 30-60 days, I would book the new reservation then cancel the first one so you don't loose anything.

isabellea answered the room question, as for Magic Bands, you will receive a new set with a new reservation, but you can also use any old MBs you have. Many people bring several MBs and use them interchangeably during a visit.

Remember MBs don't have anything "loaded" on them, they are simply a link to your MDE account.

Did you lose any money since you cancelled your DVC reservation? I'm thinking of booking a DVC for next May, but not sure how things worked out if I had to cancel for some reason.

I assume you already know this as a DVC member but since you are less than 30 days from checkin your DVC points from the cancelled reservation are now "in holding" meaning you can only use them to book rooms within a 60 window of check in and they will expire at the end of your current use year (cannot be banked now)
