T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 thread (Team USA and Canada will be there). If you aren't a fan of the sport, will you still tune in to support your national team anyway? The tournament runs from June 1 to June 29, 2024. As a host country (West Indies are the co-host), I hope the nation will support the national team by at least attempting to watch the tournament on tv when they play. I admit I'm not the biggest fan of the sport but I am willing to give it a shot. I hope others on the Disboards will give it a chance too. I believe Disney/ESPN own the rights to the USA broadcasts. Go team USA and Canada.

I'm surprised that no one is actually interested in watching team USA's opening match against Canada on tv in June. It's fine of course but I find that a little shocking to be honest given that Americans seem to watch and attend all major sporting events, so I guess it will be interesting to see the tv viewing numbers and stadium attendance numbers when the tournament is over.
