I have a staff infection. It has made me very itchy. Mom took me to the vet and I am taking medicine, but I still itch really bad. Mom keeps yelling at me every time I try to scratch my itch. She doesn't want me to make sores, but IT ITCHES!!!!!

I'll scratch yours if you scratch mine............ ;)

Awwww Griffin...you poor baby. Have you had your mommy try Benydryl? I know it helps me when I get all itchy from stuff and can't stay away from my paws or my ears. It makes me sleepy but it stops those itchies. Have you tried rolling around all over the floor on your back, waving those legs in the air?? I know it's not very dignified but it sure helps and my family just howls when they watch me!!! I hope you stop itching soon.

Aww poor little guy.... no itchy scratchy for you!!! I am sorry!

I was so glad to see that Griffin wrote that--I was wonding what kind of kinky lady you were! :rotfl2:

Poor Griffin!!!

We just went through something similar with our Daisy! She was on antibiotics too...and our vet gave us some neat erythymicin (sp?) stuff to put on Daisy...it absorbs really quickly into those itchy spots so she couldn't lick it off!

Our vet also told us to make sure we brush Daisy all the time! Sometimes those long hairs on the belly and legs get tangled, and that makes it itch/pull and Daisy would try to "fix it" herself by licking and scratching, but that wasn't helping...so Daisy gets her belly brushed at least twice a day!

Hope you feel better soon, Griffin!!

Poor Griffin. His face is priceless in that picture.

Poor doggie! Those infections are hard on pets.

I feel so bad for you, Griffin. Try not to itch. Hopefully it will go away real soon.

Griff, remember your pets can put one of them large collars on you that make you look like a radar antenna like mine did once. All the other doggies laughed at me when I walked by.
