Will Western Magic stop at Grand Cayman next month?

Storm Carib was a new dive report - reporting lots of hungry stingrays waiting at stingray city - also said favorable things about the reef on which they dove - look in the news section, I think.

The right side from Georgetown - South Sound, Boddentown, East End, appears to have gotten the absolute worst of the storm. Unfortunately, that means it doesn't look so good for the botanical garden. I've been watching the blue iguana project for updates and last I read, they're having to climb in to get to the iguanas (because of the blowdown) , and have not been as far the botanical garden yet.

I have not read every single report, but has anyone heard anything about damage to the port itself (where Hard Rock Cafe and the tender was)? I have not read anything about that or seen any pictures of it at all. Was that side of the island spared?

Georgetown is the port. They got hit really hard, almost everything along the breakwater got washed out. Buildings mostly still standing, but the first floor of just about everything flooded. The pictures you see of the white building with the red logo right in the middle is one of the banks (Scotia bank?)about 5 streets or so away from the breakwater. I saw pics in my watching that were taken during or right after the hurricane from another building that was built F5 proof even further back that showed cars parked on the street completely subersed.
