Will we need a taxi to these places?...

And about how much will it cost? We're staying at Yacht Club and would rather not spend a lot of time in transit. Taxis may be the best option for getting to these places. What do you think? FYI - we would use Disney transportation to travel back the hotel, park, etc.

Backstage Safari Tour @ AK - need to arrive by 8:00AM
Artist Point @ WL - ADR @ 8:00PM
HDDR @ PH - ADR @ 7:15PM, prefer to arrive by 6:45
Chef Mickey @ CO - ADR @ 7:50AM

TIA :)

To answer your question directly: No, you won't NEED a taxi.
You can take a Disney bus to each of these.

I've never in over a couple of dozen trips to WDW ever used a taxi.

But you've pretty much said you WANT to use a taxi, so that will be fine.

Except that the most efficient way to get to Hoop De Doo is bus to Magic Kingdom then boat to Fort Wilderness. If you take a taxi to Fort Wilderness, I think you still have to transfer to a bus at/near the entrance of the resort, and HDDR is across the resort, a short walk from the dock (except that the OP has it as being '@ PH', which means I could be entirely wrong in my interpretation of which meal/event this is)

So you don't think it will be a problem getting to CO by 7:50 AM? Assuming the buses start running at 7:00 we still have to walk from the entrance of MK over to CO. Also, think we can make it to AK by 8:00 using the bus?

As you can see, I don't know exactly where HDDR is located. I just know that it's over by Fort Wilderness and Pioneer Hall somewhere. :goodvibes

I made it to the backstage safari with plenty of time for the tour via bus - I actually called the front desk to ask what time the bus started running, and they said 8. When I told them I was trying to get there in time for a tour, they then said "Oh, they actually start running at 7, but we don't usually say that to avoid everyone getting there super early."

Yes and yes.

(And I never assume the buses would "start running" as LATE as 7am.)

You can take the monorail from MK to Contemporary if you don't want to walk.
Resort monorails run VERY early.
Buses start running much earlier than that.

DAK is only 20 minutes (or less) from the farthest resort, once the bus is in transit.
