What's your opinion here, people-in-the-know? Our flight gets into MCO at 9:56 am on Saturday 2/27. We'll take Magical Express to OKW after grabbing our luggage. Not expecting our room to be ready so we'll politely throw our luggage at bell services while we sprint to the bus stop. Do you think we can make it to HS and be through the tapstiles in time to try for a RotR boarding group at 1 pm? I know it will be close if it works at all, but curious what others think.

Using just "rules of thumb", it's been "plan on 90 minutes from gate to resort". However, you now need to collect your luggage. That can add 20-30 minutes (do you need to cross over to the other terminal after getting your luggage?). So now you're at OKW at Noon. That leaves you an hour to get to HS. I'd say it's possible, but you might need to use uber/lyft/taxi instead of Disney Transportation.

That's assuming your flight is not delayed (doesn't have to be weather related). If you can get a later boarding group, I'd feel better, even for another day. If that's your only option, you might make it, but not definitely.

We will be going to HS another day as well so it isn’t a “necessity” but it would be nice to have two cracks at it. We won’t try for a boarding group at 7 am since we will be on the plane and it is my understanding that if I happened to get a boarding group I couldn’t use, I’d be locked out from trying at 1 pm. I guess if we make it by 1 pm to try then, great. If not, day 2. Thanks for your input.

That's going to be a tight squeeze. You'll probably have better luck if you book car service between the airport and the resort. You'll still have to wait for your luggage, which can take AGES at MCO (depending on the airline), but at least you won't have to risk a long wait for DME or multiple stops.

I think we'd uber from MCO to OKW, ask the driver to wait while we dump luggage at Bell Services and then take us to DHS. We'd give the uber driver an extra cash tip for waiting the 10 minutes or so it would take to check the luggage. I wouldn't even ask to check in or go to the room unless I had already received a room ready text and could have to driver take me right to that building.

Hope you have good luck getting there on time and then getting a good BG.

Uber doesn't really do multiple stops or wait time like that.

I'd ask the driver on the way to OKW, anyway. He/She might just do it, or suggest how to request the second leg without us losing too much time waiting around at OKW.
