Will we make it from HS to EPCOT on time?

We're planning to watch Fantasmic (which starts at 7:30pm), and then go to EPCOT for our 8:50pm ADR at Le Cellier.
We'll have a car.
Do you think we can make it on time, with all the crowds leaving HS after Fantasmic?

You should have 50 minutes or so to get there. Just walk the path to Epcot and in the back door, should take 15-20 minutes. Then turn left and 3 minutes later you're there. Should be no problem at all.

I would consider parking your car at EPCOT that morning and then taking a boat of to DHS. Now after F! you can just hop a boat back to EPCOT and be in the WS with plenty of time to spare. This might be much easier than after F!, getting to your car, maybe fight a little to get out, drive to EPCOT, find parking, walk all through FW just to get to the WS whole half the time worrying if you will make it in time.

In either case you should make it in plenty of time. It really depends on which would bother you less, the stress of getting there in time and driving from DHS to EPCOT or parking in EPCOT in the AM.

The walk from DHS to Epcot will take 25 - 30 minutes. You can get from DHS to the Epcot resorts in about 15 - 20 min, but then there is another 7 - 10 minute walk from each of those resorts to Epcot.

That being said, the OP should still have enough time for his plan.

I don't think Google is right in all instances. I can walk it in about 25 minutes. However, not everyone walks at the same pace.

The boat ride takes 30 minutes, but that doesn't count time that may be spent waiting for the boat to arrive.

You don't walk on Buena Vista Dr. to get from HS to Epcot. There is a walkway out of DHS that follows the canal and then goes by the Epcot resorts before getting to Epcot. It takes me about 22 - 25 minutes to walk the whole route, but I am a very fast walker. Walking in a manner that woulld take you along Buena Vista Dr. would definitely take longer.
