DH and I are staying at BLT in a studio for 5 nights the beginning of March. It will be our first time staying at BLT and I'm wondering will we be comfortable in a studio? I have read that its small and that the bathroom sink is near the kitchen sink. Would we be better off in a one bedroom? I have the points and there looks like there is availability.
We are not running off to parks so we be in the room more than if we were with our kids.
Thanks for any input.

Dh and I spent 3 nights at BLT last October and then moved over to a 1 bedroom at BCV for 2 nights.

We were comfortable in the BLT studio. It is small but for 2 Adults perfectly ok. We also were on DDP so no cooking and we had mugs so dont think we made coffee either. The layout is most suited to 2 Adults imo.

The 1 bedroom at BCV all to ourselves was heavenly!! Very relaxing and nice to have 2 tv's because Dh likes to watch ESPN 24-7. I enjoyed the soaking tub and the King sized bed is a plus too!:cloud9:

So if you have the points and plan alot of down time, my vote is for the 1 bed but you will be alright choosing the studio.

The BLT 1 bedrooms are what prompted me to add on there. They look awesome!

If you have the points and like your space, go for the one bedroom. DW and I stay in one bedrooms 95% of the time. We also like to take advantage of the full kitchen and washer and dryer.

I think you will be fine in a studio with just two adults. But if you have the points and are not going to miss using them for some other trip, why not. Now that said, I would definitely pick a studio with a MK view if available over a 1 bedroom without the view. So not sure about availability and points. Have fun! The resort really is amazing.

I don't know if I agree. The MK view isn't a great view except for the monorail and fireworks. Other that those it's pretty much a parking lot view with the MK in the distance.

The best place to see the fireworks is at the TOTW. It's easy to get to, currently isn't crowed, and gives you a reason to get out of your room.

I get your point exactly. When I went to Chef Mickey's on my December 2009 trip, I checked out the view from the parking lot looking up at the building. I called and cancelled my May 2010 waitlist for MK view and will stick with the lake view. After boating around on Bay Lake all week since we were at VWL it sealed the deal. I'll happily stay in a lake view and go up to TOTW for fireworks and save the points for another time. But that's the great thing about DVC, different strokes for different folks.
