Will WDW Restaurants Do Separate Checks?

If we decide against the DDP and want to keep track of how much we are each spending at meals, at the beginning of the meal is it possible to request two checks?

we do it all the time!

Ask them to put all the appetizers on one bill, all the entrees on another, all the drinks on another, etc. etc. and if the item starts with a Y, ask them to put that on a separate check, then blame it all on Dr. Doofenshmirtz and his RIDICULOUSSPLITCHECKENATOR!!!!
