will waiting list show up on my DVC member page?

Just booked a short 3 night stay at BWV for Jan. 2012 we got a standard view studio, but had to wait list for our last night. I was advised to secure a pool view for my last night and they put us on a wait list also..........so now my question. The wait list request did not show up on my trip page, but my ressi did. I also got an e-mail and there is not mention of the wait list. Is this normal????

I'm in the same boat. When and if your wait list confirms, it will show up. Wait lists do not show.

Our wait list came through, I decided to check on my vacations link and there was the change of resort. I did not have an email notification so I don't know how quickly the wait list came through, good job I checked.

Looks like several of us are on the waitlist for January standard view studio. I've been checking daily. We are waitlisted for Jan 18-23 and on Thursday I will be waitlisting for Jan. 23-28. We are at OKW and we want to do a split stay, so maybe by having a waitlist for 5 nights at the beginning and end, there's a better chance we'll get one or the other. So far, as of this morning the days missing were 18, 19, 22, 25 (yesterday the 23rd was missing). So there are too many holes to try to waitlist any other way. OP, all you can do is check your "upcoming" vacations to see if it comes through. I guess they send you a confirmation now too. I'm not good with waitlist and find myself checking too often. Your waitlist should come through since it's only 1 night. The larger the waitlist, the slimmer the chances.
