So DD16 and I are going to Disney March 17-24. Staying at BWV. We have some friends going the same time but going to Universal first and they check into CBR on the 19th. It is a mom and her DD16 too.

So our fastpasses can be done January 16th but theirs would not be able to be done until the 18th. We will probably spend a bunch of time together. They have never been.

So would it work if I add them to our BWV reservation in name only so I can book all our fastpasses or would it not work as they have a separate room reservation? Not sure if it would work out on My Disney a Experience or not or if it will mess things up?

Your friends will end up with two sets of FPs.

As long as they have separately linked tickets, you can link their MDX account to yours and still be able to book their FPs for them when your FP booking window opens.

Ok great. That's what I needed to know. Thanks!!

As long as their tickets are linked and you make sure to select the names with the linked tickets to add to the resort reservations, you should be fine.

There is a sticky about FP+ https://www.disboards.com/threads/fastpass-frequently-asked-questions.3491680/ graciously posted and maintained by mesaboy2, which covers this, along with pretty much everything else about FP+

As long as your friends have tickets, and are connected to you through MDX Friends and Family, you can choose their names as well as yours when making FP+ and you will be able to book their FP+ the same time you book yours.
