Will this trip ever get off the ground? - Jan 2012 PTR - TOMORROW - 1/5!!!

I kept thinking too bad you don't live around here cause you'd freak out and then try to steal my pumpkins. :lmao: Some lady took photos of them last night. Most people noticed Phineas and Ferb or Perry. Silly people. The four year old next door started the night with a "Blast you Perry the Platypus!" and ended the night with a "Blast you Phineas and Ferb!":lmao:

:rotfl: Aww no, I totally wouldn't have stolen them! But I would have absolutely tried to take a picture of them, and DBF would have probably accused me of being creepy! I'm very impressed with those pumpkin-carving skills!

Love the decorations, the pumpkins and especially the kitty costumes!

I thought I had shared my plans for December, but I guess not. Being that its a little over a month away, I better get started on the sharing!

Friday - Work most of the day. We had a flight out at 6:21pm, but AirTran was not so smart and cancelled all non-stop flights. So we got a refund and booked on JetBlue leaving at 4:40pm. So an early day for me. We are to land at MCO at 8pm, then baggage claim to pick up our things and off to the ME. We're staying at Pop. Once checked in and we drop our stuff off in our room we're off to Epcot, because its got EMH until 12:30am. We don't care if we do anything or not, we just want to be on Disney property!

Saturday - HS has EMH, so lots of TSMM and Star Tours this morning. Then we are heading over to AK for Mickey's Jingle Jammin' Parade. Then back to HS until we have our fill of Osborne Holiday Lights. Then DTD for some retail therapy and maybe some food!

Sunday - Pre-park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace. MK today, resort hopping to see decorations, EP to do rides and see Santas, back to MK for MVMCP until midnight. Phew!

Monday - Pack up, check out, check luggage and store carry on. Off to Epcot to finish seeing Santas and whatever else we want to do today. Our flight doesn't take off until almost 7pm today!

So that's it! Our crazy whirlwind holiday in Disney time!:santa:

Wow that is a whirlwind! You are an early bird AND a late nighter.

I always say "planes are for sleeping". Looks like the return flight will be your rest time.

And I :lovestruc Jet Blue!

I had to take a nap after reading the December plans. It's a good thing you are MUCH younger than me. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Seriously, plans sound great. :thumbsup2

I'm so not an early bird....except for at Disney. I'm much more the late nighter. Flying down we're JetBlue, coming back we used my points with Delta, since I'm going to cancel the card since the screwed up my January flights. I'm just hoping my Delta flight is not like your Continental flights!

I figured three days of all out going Disney crazy! We have window decorations and everything too! For only three nights in the hotel. :rolleyes1 I wish it could be longer, but I have January for that! I think the person I'm going might be older than you, but she keeps up with the kids! This is my one chance anytime soon to see Disney at Christmas and since we all know BF refuses to go for another 8 years with me, I'd better make the most of it!

Wow, you weren't kidding with whirlwind plans! That sounds like it's going to be so much fun! Just keep eating cupcakes and Mickey bars to keep your energy up!

Mmmmm cupcakes. I never had a Mickey bar yet! I was going to in October, but well it never happened. I can't wait for it to be December!

Can't wait for MVMCP!

Hey just read your December plans and guess what? NONE of our days overlap! Unless I change my plans and add MVMCP on Sunday. As of now, we're skipping it, because I don't feel like spending over $100 for a parade and fireworks since we have gone the past 2 years...BUT...I really love MVMCP. So I don't know. And we will be in Epcot Monday night for the CP, but I don't know what we're doing that day! This trip is still so up in the air for me, it's hard to plan with only 3 days to work with! :rotfl:

I read your plans and we're staying in the same resort. We'll be in Epcot all day Monday until we have to left to catch ME :sad2:

Mee too!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo:

It's getting closer!

So I'm 22 days away from my next vacation (if you can call a quick weekend trip that) and meeting Ann! and Princess Zoe.:cool1: And seeing Santa :santa: And then returning to real life. :guilty:

I'm 50 days away from a real vacation (10 days in January) with my cousin, who still doesn't exactly know. I sent her a clue of green army men and she told her mom all she could think was toy story. :rotfl: If only she knew how right she was. But she's having a hard time connecting that to the water bottle, eye mask, wind up butterfly, mardi gras beads, and I think there was something else I previously sent her. This past week she was sent chocolate gold coins in a pirate ziploc bag I found at Target. I kept one or two to send her and gave the rest to the 4 year old next door. This week's suprise is a bunch of little Star Wars bean looking toys. Most people NEVER connect Star Wars with Disney at first.

The plan is to have her bring all her puzzle pieces with her to my parents house at Thanksgiving, where she'll get the remaining pieces and a Coach crossbody bag for use in the parks. She'll put the puzzle together and flip it over and see Minnie Mouse and realize we're going to Disney! And hopefully we'll get some :yay::woohoo::dance3::cheer2::banana: :worship::cool1::yay::yay: Then I have a binder to give her with our flight information, her ticket, our "hotel" information (I put in the info for POFQ, our original stay for the whole time, AKL and BLT will be another surprise), and hours for the parks. I'll let her look online and see if there is anywhere she wants to eat or go or anything and see if I can book it if I don't already have plans for it.

Now, there might be a wrench in the plans, she works a retail job on top of going to school, so she usually works sometime on Black Friday. But her mom just got a job working retail as well and her store will be opening at midnight, so depending on her mom's schedule they may not be coming up to my parent's house for Thanksgiving. If they don't we're going to make plans to get together the next weekend and this will happen probably at her house then. But I really hope they come to my parent's house, because I haven't gotten to see them since April when the plan was formed.

Wow, that is a GREAT, elaborate(!) surprise plan. I'm sure your cousin will be thrilled! Can't wait to hear how it all turns out.

How cool that you're going to be revealing the surprise soon! You must be so excited!! (And that you have even more surprises in store - very sneaky!!)

I hope that she comes for Thanksgiving. I just can't wait to hear how excited she is. You are a super cousin!!!! She must adore you. :goodvibes:goodvibes
