I am staying off property at a friends Orlando timeshare. We are coming in this Friday night. We are going to MK on Saturday and Sunday we will be attending the first show of the Candlelight Processional in EPCOT!! :cool1::cool1: My first time! Can't wait.

Anyway, I want to show my friend the models of the BW rooms on the BW and shop in Thimbles and Threads, grab some ice cream at Beaches and Cream. Besides being a home resort owner at BW, I hold the AP, and the TIW, as well as a Disney Visa Card. I am wondering if we can valet park at BW to go out and about on the Boardwalk area, (of course a stop at the bakery before going home for some carrot cake for breakfast the next day!), go into EPCOT for the Candlelight Processional reservations (lunch time), and back to BW for dinner at ESPN or Big River Grille? Makes sense to me to park at BW instead of EPCOT since we'll be spending just as much time, if not more (if we go to Jellyrolls) at the BW :confused3

Is that a good game plan?

TIA!

DVC ownership does not get you any "day use" privileges like some other time share systems.

I think TIW only gives you 3 hours of free Valet parking if you show a dinner receipt with an applied TIW discount. Chances are, you will have to pay the $12? For Valet + tip. You are not supposed to use resort parking for theme park visits.

You get free Epcot parking as an AP holder. That's really what you should do in that situation.

You might have trouble parking at BWV. When we checked in on Saturday, the Guard verified our name on the list. Yesterday we waited in a long line and they were turning cars away. The Guard told us that parking at the resort was for registered Guests only.

The free parking at Epcot makes much more sense. We can go out International Gateway to the BWV after the processional, and back the same way thru the front of the park to the lot. Get some good walking exercise in too! :goodvibes

Thanks for the info!
