I put an offer in on a resale today, we are just waiting to hear back from the seller.

The agent recommended that instead of paying the $83/point that was being asked I offer 88/point and ask the sellers to pay for closing. It is a small difference so the total price difference between $83 and $88 a point is $375. The resort is SSR.

Will this help me pass ROFR? Right now I'm just crossing my fingers that the seller will accept the deal.

Who's the broker? I think the experience of the broker may be a better indicator than whatever we might say.

Probably not but it won't hurt.

I have been told that Disney looks at the whole picture and takes all factors into account. Moving money around doesn't change the total bottom line. But it definitely won't hurt your chances. Good luck.:)

I think Disney is smart enough to look at the total picture, too.

But as someone already posted, if the contract gets by ROFR, it shouldn't make any difference to you since you are paying approximately the same amount either way.

Good luck!
