Will this be hard?

Just found out that my Step-Father will be joining us on our trip next Dec. - this is wonderful - my kids will be able to enjoy Disney with both Grandmas and a Grampy!! But now I am wondering..... Will it be impossible to get a CRT ressie for 5 adults and 2 children? That is a big table :( I don't want to miss out on this again - last time we had to do the Storybook - which was great, but I really, really wanted to eat in the castle with my kids. Tell me this won't be impossible.

All of our PS's for our December trip are for 7. We have 4 adults and 3 children. I also have to PS for CRT during that week. I don't think you should have any problems.

Sometimes they have to split larger parties into two tables, but it usually isn't a problem. Last Nov we were a party of 8. They told us when we made the PS that we had to take two tables of 4. They also tell you that they can't guarantee tables together. That being said, they really do a good job of putting tables together in this kind of situation. We were all together on our visit. Hoefully you can just snag a reservation for 7, but if they tell you they can't don't worry.

Of course this brings up an interesting dilemma given the frenzy of getting CRT ressies. Are you better off asking for one table for 7, or two tables? What I'd do is tell the CM that two tables are ok when you give them the info about your dates and party. This way he or she can snag what's there as quickly as possible without having to first search for a table for 7, then have to research for smaller tables if 7 isn't available. Can't afford to waste any seconds..........and good luck.

Thanks - and I know I seem a little crazy thinking about this over a year from our trip. I promised myself I would concentrate on other things AT LEAST until mid January when we will have our BWV ressies (fingers crossed). But, my Mom called last night and mentioned that about my step-dad and I couldn't stop thinking about it!!! An exta studio, different PS numbers - the mind boggles!!! LOL

OK, now FOR SURE I'm not doing any Disney planning until Jan. Really, I promise this time, well, I may peek on the boards once a week... or twice. I LOVE DISNEY :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hubby and I are going away to Universal (shhhh ;)) in a little over a month, and I haven't made any PS's (except Tchoup Chop) or planned our days or anything. It is just going to be a relaxing trip, no kids. But, I do love planning for Disney - I should do it for a living!!

Last year we needd it for 7 and I too thought that would make it more difficult. We tried and tried and on the 4th day both my mother and DH got it. So, it is possible.
Good luck!

We've also been successful getting a seven.

When you book they will probably tell you that you'll be seated at two seperate tables, but when you arrive in almost every case you'll all be seated together, so do'nt let that scare you :)
