Will they move luggage??

If we are staying at one Disney resort for 2 days and then checking in at another for a week, will they transport our luggage while we are out at the parks or do we need to go with our luggage to the new hotel?

Sure, they'll be happy to move it for you!

They will transfer it for you. When you are checking out of the first hotel just let them know you are transfering to the other and they will get it set up for you. The thing to remember is that they do one big transfer around 3pm so don't expect to have access to the luggage for a good part of the day, keep what you might need or want with you. They will tell you that the luggage will be at the new hotel between 3 and 4pm. Sometimes it is sooner, but it is always best to anticipate the later...

We just did this for our recent stay. We stayed at POR and then moved to SSR. We left our luggage at bell services at POR in the morning and then went to the parks on Sunday. They said our luggage would be delivered to SSR between 1-3 pm that afternoon. We left the parks around 3pm, went to SSR and checked in and then went to Bell services there to get them to take our luggage to the room.

It worked pretty well, but they wouldn't deliver the luggage directly to the room in the new resort, we had to be there for bell services to do this. Let me know if you have any questions!

WE just did it from OKW to BCV last week and it worked great. WE had to call OKW the night before to let them know what time we needed them to pick up. They picked up right on time and when we checked into BCV we call bell service and had our luggage delivered to the room. Of course it wasn't cheap for us as we had alot of luggage so with a $20 tip at OKW and a $20 tip at BCV, it did cost us $40 to move our luggage. (We had 12 bags). We also had 2 rental cars, but didn't want the luggage sitting in the cars all day.
