Will they let you take leftovers from a buffet?

We're considering dinner at 1900 park fare, but I cringe at the idea of paying $20 for my 3 year old who will eat all of 5 bites if we're lucky. I'm fairly certain that they won't let me just have her eat off my plate, but will they let me take leftovers from her plate back to the hotel? This way I can feed her later if she gets hungry later.

No food is permitted to be taken out of the buffet meals, even if it's already on your plate.
