I have friends who are leaving Feb.13th.visiting the world from Feb.13-20th They have the Disney Dining Plan. They have only made 3 reservations (one of them is a two credit meal)

They are winging the rest. Do you think they will be able to get in anywhere?

If they're not too picky about where they eat and are willing to leave the parks to go to outlying restaurants, then maybe they will.

That's Presidents Day weekend so I can't say how much luck they might have inside the parks.

Sure. They may not get their first choices, but they will find a table SOMEPLACE.

There are some places that don't take reservations like ESPN club and Beaches and Cream. There are some places that almost always have availability like Marrakesh or Nine Dragons. They may have tough luck getting a TS in the other parks.

They will likely find a seat at The Wave, Trail's End, Shutters, Boatwrights, Bongos, or Maya Grill. On days when I've "winged it", I've had good luck stopping at my resort's concierge desk or a parks guest services to find out what's available. I've tried places that I might have never tried by doing this. I loved the Turf Club, and I got my ADR 5 minutes before I left my hotel room.

BTW, If President's Week/Mardi Gras is as busy as the DIS board buzz has been these past few weeks, Disney may open "Seasonal" Restaurants like The Diamond Horseshoe and Tomorrowland Terrace.
