Will there be AP rates at beginning of August?

Or will Disney fill up their hotels with the great promotions they have going? I am looking at booking 3 nights. For PPH Concierge the total is $829 or so. We can stay at DLH standard for $624 or PPH Standard for $609. There will be 5 of us, 3 adults, 1 teen and a 7 year old. What do you think? Will we get the $75 bucks a day worth at the Concierge Lounge?

Does anyone remember if last year they had a decent AP rate at that time? I found a post mentioning $169 for PPH for starting AP rate after Aug 16th, but we can't wait that long.

I should just book it, right! Be prepared to pay the highest, but happy if a lower rate comes out and I can lower my cost.

I bet the summer rates currently published are the best I have seen in years. I would book now and see what happens.

I am definitely not a DL expert, but we booked GCH for 40% off with the general public summer discount for August. We're WDW AP holders, and I'm going to upgrade mine to a Premier Pass to get the DL discounts on dining, etc.

So I called to ask whether the AP rates at GCH for August are any better (or could get any better) than the 40% general public discount. The CM I spoke with said that it's highly unlikely it will get any better, just as Jack mentioned.

They already have AP rates up for August; here is a sample for CL at PPH for you:
Aug 1-5 $360
Aug 6-7 $396
Aug 8-12 $360
Aug 13-14 $396
Aug 15-28 $360
Aug 29-31 $293
