My good friend is taking her two kids for their first time. One is under age 2 and therefore can't ride almost any of the things with a height requirement. But the older child can, and mom&dad would love to experience both with the other child. With no FP and single rider, I wasn't sure. But I know WDW still has DAS, so, maybe they also have baby swap? (Just using WDW as a comparison to DLR reopening)

does anyone know or can direct me to where I might find out?

Would love to know this, too, as we will we be going with our baby. I’m hopeful that when it reopens there will be some forthcoming information on that sort of detail. I know WDW is operating both rider switch and the baby care centers, but who knows!

A few thoughts to consider:

  1. The Ignore feature is quite handy. Especially when someone is repeatedly being snarky or rude to you. Use it.
  2. Regardless of the war of words that some are having with each other right now, the OP's question is a legitimate one.
  3. The odds are pretty darn high that Child Swap will be available when DL reopens in 2 weeks.
  4. If you REALLY want confirmation of whether or not Child Swap will be operational, call Disneyland directly to find out.
  5. OR wait until 4/30 and then peruse Disboards and/or Youtube.
  6. Disney does NOT specify in its DL reopening guidelines and rules that park guests need to be vaccinated.
  7. Whether or not someone gets fully vaccinated prior to going to DL, WDW, or anywhere else, mind you, is a personal decision that's between them and their doctor(s).
  8. If you want to debate #7, please go create at post on the Community board about it. But be aware that after awhile, it'll probably get closed down because the topic of "should you vaccinate or not" often turns into a political debate.
  9. Everyone needs to weigh the risks for themselves and decide for themselves if they're ready to go to DL.
  10. Everyone who chooses to go to a theme park should KNOW AND EXPECT that there will people there who are NOT fully vaccinated.
  11. If #10 is a serious concern for you, then you might want to consider waiting before returning to a theme park.
  12. To piggy back on #11, then, you should also consider that everywhere you go, every store, restaurant, etc. that you frequent WILL have people there who are not fully vaccinated.
