Will The New Ride at Typhoon Lagoon Be Ready In March?

Hi,
Anyone know how the progress is going with the new ride/slide? I read that it's supposed to open on March 14, but also read that it may be delayed in opening.

I haven't heard one way or another about a firm opening date. I'm hoping it goes well as I'd like to try this out on our April trip!! TL is one of my favorite places to begin w/!!!

The date for opening still states Spring 2005.

I've been hearing on these boards that its rumoured to be delayed but I have not seen anything official yet.

I'm hoping it will be ready for our trip at the end of March.

Hey, I just read in my allears newsletter:
"Typhoon Lagoon's new water coaster, Crush 'n' Gusher, will officially open March 15, 2005. Guests will be able to choose from three different spillways -- Banana Blaster, Coconut Crusher and Pineapple Plunger -- that weave through a simulated old tropical fruit facility. Everywhere I read for Typhoon Lagoon is Mar 12. Then I read Mar 15 for the new ride in many places. However, the March 2005 calendar says Typhoon Lagoon will not open till March 20?

can anyone elaborate?

We will be there March 18.

According to the TL information line 407-560-4141, they are "tentatively scheduled to reopen on May 13" I dont know about the Crush/Gusher ride, but the info line says it will be....we will just keep calling to verify as it gets closer. We will be there that week as well....

Debbie who I guess is an office manager at the Lagoon I spoke with yesterday said on March 13 everything including CG would be open? Remains to be seen since I ready March 15 for that ride but it would be very nice to see it all open on that Sun March 13 to take away any questions.

Staff have been testing the ride out for quite some time now, and we have all been told Mardch 13 is the first public opening date.
