Will the magic band know or even care?

I am using left over tickets this trip - 3 day park hopper and 2 - 1 park per day tickets (1-MK and 1-non-MK park).

If I go to the MK the first morning and then to Epcot for dinner will the magic band read only 1 park hopping ticket? and leave me the 1 MK stand alone ticket?

They are all linked to my MDE account.

I am assuming that the band sees that I have hopped 3 days and if I try to enter a second park on the 1 park per day tix it would reject it, right?

You can activate and deactivate tickets on MDE. You will have to make sure the ticket you want to use is actived and the others aren't.

You may want to stop at Guest Relations before you enter a park, and have them adjust the priority of your tickets. If you take no action, the tickets will be "First Linked = First Used"

That seems like such a hassle - I really don't want to spend my morning at the guest relations window outside the park.

Can I just enter the park by swiping the ticket?

Think of your tickets as standing in a queue line. The scanner will pull from the first ticket it sees. It only gets complicated if you want to bounce back and forth between tickets. I didn't so at GR prior to first park I checked to make sure my AP was first in the queue. This was why the were saying to not link party tickets in fall because if you entered between 4-7 there was chance the scanner used a regular day ticket since it would be first.

Wouldn't happen since the touch point entries that are "dedicated" to party entry are only programmed to read party tickets for the party entry times. Reason that party tickets were not to be linked is the system still wasn't in place to allow for linking these to the MDE, only to the wristband. Anyone with paper ticketing had to be treated individually at entry. More than likely, this will be "fixed or taken care of" by the next party season.

can you just scan your ticket instead of your band?

Depends on what kind of ticketing media you have, whether it is compatible with touch-point entry or not.
