Hi

Just looking at the MK map to see if there's anything new since my last visit, and was very excited to see Lion King.

Is it a permanent thing or will it be ending soon?

I know I have to book a seat in advance (although it's free) but how far in advance would I need to book them (on the day or before that?).

Has anyone seen the show?
Is it anything like 'Festival of the Lion King' at AK in Orlando?

Yes it will be on.

You have to queue for tickets on the day a few hours before the showing. It's a good show, like an abridged version of the West end Show narrated by Timon and Pumba.

It's completely different from the AK show- as Steve said more like the West End stage version. It is excellent! (Although not qu as good as AK one IMHO)

Definitely worth a visit. As Steve says you queue up before hand, no later than 10.30hrs when the give out tickets around 11.00hrs for the first shows.
I took everyone's tickets while they went on rides and got 12.00noon show.
Next time round was not asked for anyone's tickets and told them how many I needed.

Alternatively, Grab your lunch from the food counter and watch from a table up above!! Better to get the tickets the first time but we watched it every day at lunch time from up there!

I saw the West End show first, and loved seeing this slightly simplified version, I preferred it to AK Festival of the Lion King, don't miss it, even if you have to see the French version
