Will the construction workers/painters/imagineers still work at WDW?

for the tron, galaxy, Rat. ride, Space 220, paint on Castle still go on during this two week break? I am hoping that the Rat. ride will be in full operation by the end of May. for upcoming trip

Much of the work will still go on. During the Tokyo closure work has still gone on. I could see some delays though.

I was thinking about this a couple weeks ago. I almost wonder if it would be quicker because they don't need to worry about guests.

That being said I would understand if they stopped work completely.

I was thinking the same thing. I hope they use this time to knock out a ton of stuff since they can effectively do construction 24/7.

I was hoping this would give them a chance to really fix Haunted Mansion and Peoplemover.
Maybe get a lot done on the castle too

No such luck, I'm afraid. The yeti is built into the support structure of the ride, and to fix the issues they'd have to tear out half of the mountain.

On the one hand, the workers need to take care of themselves and their families, too. But on the other, it's not like they're working on top of each other. That would be great if they could just keep working - allows the workers to continue to be paid. This was work that Disney was already in the middle of, so why not?

I was wondering the same thing. It would be a good time to clean the parks really well too.

Im pretty sure they'll continue work, no large gatherings there. And figure out what's wrong with RotR

Hopefully they can get even more done with the park closed as they won't have to work around the guests. So they won't have to worry about what views they are disrupting as they work.

I think it would be wonderful when the parks open up again in a couple of weeks that the castle paint will be finished with the pink hue and darker blue turrets completed.
