Starting to become a little paranoid. I know other cruises like the Wish were not ready in time for their inaugural sailing and these cruises were canceled. Have not been hearing a ton of news about the Adventure and yet it is supposed to sail in just over 5 months....I have a cruise booked in January and already booked my flight and am now getting nervous. Does anyone have any idea at what stage of completion the Adventure is at? Thank you!

The Wish was a bit of extenuating circumstances due to COVID. She was announced before the pandemic, and I don't think anyone truly understood the ripple effects the pandemic would have on everything. There were lots of delays due to not being able to get materials, staffing, etc. DCL lots a loooooot of money having to cancel the MV and compensating everyone, so I don't think they're going to have that happen again.

Of course, there's no guarantees, but again, the Wish got stuck in very unprecedented times and extraordinary circumstances.

If you're flying from the US, I hope you have travel insurance for that trip.

I am on an early Jan sailing and got an email from the Concierge team recently reminding me about booking timelines. I don’t think Disney is currently worried about making their deadline.

I also assume they could make up a little time on delivery transit if needed.
