Will someone please confirm this??? Crowd levels this week...

First time you use the ticket, the machine does the scan and then matches it everytime thereafter.

That's what I was thinking, everything I've read, and heard has indicated sell out crowds, from commercials, to the 50th Anniversary Celebration, I wouldnt expect anything less, thru at least the end of 2005!!

I think that is an exaggeration. With the exception of perhaps some increased May crowds (because of the beginning of the celebration), I don't believe 2005 will be any different than other years - the busy times will be busu and the not so busy times will be not so busy.

Following up, now that we are back at home. We never went to MK until after 9pm and the crowds were still quite huge. On Wednesday, Extra Magic Hours were from midnight to 3am. We got in line for Space Mountain at 2:30am and the line extended out of the building. But, since they were running both sides and there were no fastpassers, we were on board in about 20 minutes. Still, for nearly 3am, I was amazed. Lines for Test Track, Rock n Roller, Space Mountain routinely exceeded 100 minutes. We spent a lot of time in World Showcase and Stormalong Bay. But, that was the plan from the beginning.

WOW!!! I'm going April 21st. I certainly hope it's not that crowded :confused3 Glad you enjoyed the pool and all :earsboy:

Oh my gosh you guys are scaring me! We are leaving 4/1; same time as last year the only difference being last year that was the week before Easter so I thought it wouldn't be as bad this time. It was crowded but do-able last year and I don't handle crowds well at all. There were long waits for rides but getting around in the parks was fine and that is what I have a problem with. But based on some of these posts, it sounds as though crowd levels are much worse this year. And yes, I know, it's insane for a person with serious crowd-phobia to visit WDW during Spring Break but we love Disney and with kids in school it's one of the only times we can go. :sad2:

I have a business trip to Orlando this week. When I tried to book a flight home on Friday night, 4/1, about a month ago everything was sold out. So many people are going home on Friday. I ended up making the trip for this Wednesday (one day only, arriving 9:45am, departing 5:35pm, so no side trips to WDW! :sad1: ).
