I would plug all this in to Ridemax like I've done the past few years, but with Ariel and Star Tours, I'm just not sure if it would be reliable. But my DIS friends ARE, so I was hoping someone would tell me if I'm trying to cram too much in or if I'd be better off with a different order? This is for my family of 5 with 3 DDs, and they really need the afternoon breaks (okay, DH and I will too), so have to have those. We don't mind missing some of the shows effects to not wait in line as long either. Thanks to anyone who makes it to the end of this post!! :goodvibes

I'll let someone else critique your itinerary since when we go to DLR (APH) we don't have a plan and have never used Ride Max or any other plan. I'm sure someone else can let you know.:goodvibes

However, on Sunday, the 26th, the cheapest So. Cal AP is blocked, just so you know. On Sat, the 25th only Premiums can come in. I keep hearing that on days when all AP are blocked except Premiums then the parks isn't too crowded. Well we were there this past Sat. and all non-Premium AP were blocked. It seemed really crowded to me. But then there was a school choir competition going on as well as Mice Chat's Gumball Rally. :confused3

I think Sunday won't be too bad. Know that APH tend not to get there at opening but trickle in during the late morning hours.

Thanks, Disneydaz. Maybe it's just going to be crowded period from the new attractions. I think we will be fine no matter what because we will get there 30 min before opening, so if nothing else, we can have good mornings. If we have to not ride as many rides, then so be it. I swore I wasn't going to have a set plan, but just like to have one to go by as a guide at least. I've been reading some threads saying how lines are going to be a few hours long for Ariel and Star Tours, which is nuts to me, so I want a plan for that. This may be our last trip to DL for awhile (of course, we said that last year too), so I want to ride those new ones!!

Your plan for your first day looks very doable, although we are still not sure how, where and when the line for Ariel will form.

For your second day, I think you will have a bit of an issue fitting all 4 of those rides in before 8. It's probably doable if you are literally one of the first people on Matterhorn. Space will then have a 10 min line by the time you get there, Buzz will still be a walk on, but the problem is going to be Nemo. By the end of MM, the line might be 15-20 min and the ride itself is 15 min, eating a big chunk out of your MM hour for just 1 ride. It would be easier to do 3 of the 4 rides if you really want to be at the other side of the park at 8.

Also I would ride Indy before BTMRR. BTMRR's line doesn't get long for a while.

Now this is speculation because we don't know yet how Ariel will affect Toy Story's line, but if you plan on going to DCA twice for rope drop, I would do Ariel one day and Toy Story on the other. Those are the two rides at DCA that don't have FP and will have long lines. Also try ToT in the morning. I see you have it scheduled for evenings, but the line almost never develops until early afternoon.

One last thing, if you want really good spots for the 9:00 WoC, showing up at 8:30 won't do it. You'll have to be there at least by 8, if not earlier. But that is a preference thing.

Hope that helps a bit!

Something I learned from our trip last October. We had planned to ride Nemo and then Space and go from there. Get there and Nemo is not open. Neither was Space. Took about 15 mins for either to open. We ended up doing the Matterhorn twice then going back. So, while I will plan for this July trip ...I will have a definate back up.

That helps a lot. Thank you. Yes, that is assuming a lot on a summer Saturday to get all 4 of those in before 8. Hmm... Will adjust that. And I will put Indy in before BTMRR. I don't know why I didn't think about doing TSMM and Ariel on different days. I guess I was focused on getting WofC FPs. Thanks for the feedback!!!

And cruisecastle - we've never been to Napa Rose, but if I was just going with my DH, I would definitely go!

This actually happened to us for Nemo two years ago. I was running like a chicken with its head cut off trying to just get there fast and then regrouping on the fly so thanks for that reminder. I'm laughing right now because it's so funny to see adults running to get in line for a ride lol.

We are going to be at DCA at 9:30 on Sat, 6/25. This is the night I want the earliest show for WofC. Should I just go straight there to get a FP, or can we ride Soarin first and still get the Blue section?
