My MIL will be joining us in August. We now will have 3 adults, 1 child, and 2 infants.

Does Universal allow this many in a room or will we have to mov eto another hotel?

I believe the max is 5 per room for all of universal rooms.

Just got my answer. Only 5 people maximum.

Guess no Universal for us this year.

Maybe you can call Universal and verify that infants count towards the 5 person limit.

The limit of 5 to a room is due to the fire code in orlando.

Babies count in the 5 per room.

We had 6 people in a Portofino suite last summer due to our niece accompanying us.

2 adults and 2 children in the bedroom and 2 adults in the Parlor. Because the adults were spread out between the two rooms, we also were not charged an extra fee for the 2 additional adults as we had 2 adults per room.

The parlor part of the Portofino Suite counts as another room. If you get a Portofino Suite w/ the 2 queens, you could fit 4 in that room and 2 more in the pullout in the parlor.

Extra bathroom in the parlor was a plus! ;)

Why not just get 2 connecting rooms? We will be doing that for our Labor day weekend visit. Dh's sis and nephew are coming with us so booked RPR with guaranteed connecting rooms.
Also gives 2 tvs and bathrooms and plenty of space.

Wow Goofy, this is enlightening. So if you have any suite (let's say a king suite at RPR), do you know if you can have the extra adult for free?

I don't know how it works at the RPR. They always seemed to be a bit stricter with their policies to me.

But we have been doing it at the PBH for awhile now with the 5 of us as our oldest child is an adult. We always stick her in the parlor. It was originally the PBH's suggestion, so I am pretty sure it is ok.
