Will riverside be getting renovated rooms like French Quarter?

Hi all,

I was wondering if Riverside are getting any major room renovations like French quarter has recently? I’m currently booked to stay at the sister resort as I prefer the newer rooms. But I was hoping that Riverside was getting a change. I know they had a soft refurbishment a couple of years ago (?) but just wanted to confirm.

Any info would be appreciated

I would love to know the answer to this question since we might stay here or POR. Surprised no one gave any info.

We stayed at POR in August and our room had new drapes. I noticed them because they were so fresh and clean looking. I didn't take pictures, but I think that the curtain that closed off the sink area was new, too. It also had a new coffee maker. It was a room in the mansion section.

It's on the Disney website that from April of '25 to January of '26, the rooms at Riverside will undergo refurbishment.

I was just there this past week, and the rooms are a bit beaten up. It's definitely time for a refurbishment, especially with the ultra-high prices Disney now charges for moderate resorts (they're definitely moderate, but no longer moderately priced!).

Anyhow, hoping the refurbishment is similar to the POFQ rooms.
