Will restaurants substitute food choices?

We are interested in attending some of the character meals - breakfasts, etc. but I am concerned about the choices for meals.

Does anyone know if the restaurants will substitute cereal for breakfast? My kids don't all eat french toast and I really want to try the castle for breakfast. Would I have to let them know when I make the reservation or when I arrive for my seating? What about other restaurants, is there usually macaroni and cheese or peanut butter and jelly available?

Thanks! ::MinnieMo

Any WDW resturant will make accomodations for your dining if they know ahead of time. You can call the dining line (407-WDW- DINE) and have the requests added to your priority seating.

Macaroni and cheese and well as PB&J are usually readily avalaible at any resturant and not usually needed to be a special request.

Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast offers a "healthy alterntive" to the regular eggs, bacon, sausage, buns, etc. It's fresh berries with granola and yogurt in a giant (!) bowl. Looked yummy.
