Will resorts hold luggage?

Looking to go to WDW in February...returning flight leaves at 8:00pm. Naturally we would have to check out earlier that morning. Will the resort hold our luggage? That way we could go to a park for the day, return to the resort, get luggage and then be picked up by Magical Express.

Is this possible? How does the resorts handle that? Looking to stay at All Star Movies.

Yes they will hold your luggage, I don't exactly remember the procedure, but I think you just bring your luggage down and they put it in the bell service room and give you a claim ticket and when you come back to catch your shuttle or whatever your means of returning to airport they bring it curbside for you. Have a magical trip.

You can just call bell services from your room as you're leaving to go to the parks that morning. We did this last month at POR, and they asked us to just leave our bags in a pile by the air conditioner, with the tip underneath one of the suitcases. We went to the parks for the morning and came back and picked it up at the bell services stand out front of the resort (we were in our own car - the only reason we did this was because we had some things we didn't want to sit in the hot car all morning).

However, since you'll be using ME, I think once you've called bell services in the morning, they'll take care of getting it to the airport for you - in other words, you won't need to go back and pick it up before you get on the ME bus.

Yes they will hold your luggage for you-- very convient. We always ask for a late check-out too. If you call the front desk and housekeeping the night before you leave they will sometimes allow you to stay in the room until 1pm if it is not needed. The last two times we went we were allowed to stay until 1pm and the next time until 12pm. It proved very helpful to allow us and the kids one final dip in the pool before showering and getting out.
