Will park tickets demagnatize going thru airport thing?

Hi everyone.. Can not think of the exact name for the x-ray thing that you run your bags thru at the airport.. But anyway, will our cards be ok after going thru them???
How about when I coppied them on the copy machine(as I remember reading here on the board to do), so that I had proof of them if they were lost???

I hope none of this is an issue with the tickets!

The thing that your carryon bags goes thru is an Xray machine. It doesn't have magnets and won't affect the magnetic strip on passes (if it did, it would erase the magnetic strips on people's credit card, driver's licenses, etc.)

The machine that checked baggage goes thru may include magnets strong enough to disrupt things - which is why they say not to put film in your checked bags. I would not put my passes in my checked bags though anyway.

A copy machine won't cause any harm to your passes either.

I am glad to hear that, also I was planning on taking the tickets in my carry on only, since I know they like to lose luggage! HUH!
