Will Paint the Night parade ever come to WDW?

Just curious your thoughts. We were HUGE fans of SPECTROMAGIC (tugged at our heart strings....)! The MSEP is nice, but just doesn't do it for us (tho I know for many it brings back childhood memories which is awesome)!

We watch Disney related videos via YouTube on AppleTV frequently (yes, we are Disney addicts ) and stumbled upon the Paint the Night parade in DL. WOW!!! Talk about spectacular!! If you haven't seen it....it's worth a peak!

I read somewhere that the afternoon parades usually debut in DL and then eventually move to the MK in WDW. Is this true? And if so, any chance we could see Paint the Night coming to the east coast?

I saw it at DL in August and it is awesome! I wouldn't expect it to come to WDW soon, they want to have a reason for people to go to DL. The fireworks show was great too. Maybe for WDW's 50th anniversary in 2021, who knows.

I hope so! Disneyland is just too crowded for a nighttime parade. The walkways are too narrow and it makes the entire park miserable to cross.

I don't think Paint the Night will be coming to WDW. I saw it at Disneyland and thought it was fantastic but I would be more interested in WDW getting it's own updated night time parade and not just a copy of Paint the Night.

I thought when they first announced Festival of Fantasy it was suppose to have a night time version but then it got scrapped. I'm sad that never happened.

I don't see Paint the Night coming to WDW any time soon....but I wish it did! It was awesome! Out of the 4 days we were there, we saw it 3 times!

Chances are that when they do make a new nighttime parade for MK that it will be a lot like Paint the Night and use similar technology and such, but it probably won't be called "Paint the Night" and will likely be pretty different. At least that's what I would think they would do. It's nice to have an original work at both parks.

I hope so! Even if they change it, keep the soundtrack. Was there for four days and saw it five times.

Oh well!! A girl can dream! Perhaps someday WDW will get something as good, if not better!!

Sounds like you need to make a trip to Disneyland.

Actually, we were seriously considering a trip for next Nov but are now thinking we may hold off for a couple more years.....
