So, we have a week in June booked at OKW with points. We initially decided to go to FL because our daughters have the National competition for tumbling at Ft Lauderdale. We dont have the schedule yet for the meet, so we dont know when the girls will tumble. Initially, the plan was to stay in Ft. Lauderdale for the week of the competition and then drive to Disney for a week. Then, a couple of weeks ago, we decided that if the girls tumble several days apart, we would rather spend the time between at WDW and just drive back and forth for the meet. So, we booked an additional week at ASMo. Then, i got an email saying our FP window had opened, because apparently you can book for both parts of a split stay at 60 days out from the first res. We booked out FPs and everything is good, but once we get the finalized schedule for the meet, if the girls dont tumble until the end of the competition week, we may decide to fly in later and cancel some or all of the ASMo stay. We just cant know for several more weeks until schedules come out.
DH just said he didn't know if we cancel that part of the stay, will our FPs get dropped? We only have FPs scheduled for the second week because we KNOW we will be there then. If we keep the beginning stay we will add tickets at that point and worry about FP for those days then. But will the second part of our stays FPs get dropped if we cancel or modify the first part of our stay? I just assumed they were totally separate but now im not sure.
