Will old MB work as room key?

We're going in April and my mom is coming up to visit one day.

Can I give her an old MB of mine to use as a key to get in our room?

We're going to the park that day and I don't want her to have to wait in the lobby for us to return. I'd feel better knowing she had access to my room.

As long as the old MB is still active in your MDE account it will work.

Yes.

But, if she is on your reservation and staying overnight with you, she will get her own MB, and they can give it to her at the desk when she arrives.
