Im going to Disney soon (10 DAYS CANT COME FAST ENOUGH!!):banana:
and I'll be going to see Ice before i go check in at my hotel the day i get there. :)
This will be my first trip with the Nikon D5000 and I went in Ice a few years ago and remember it being really cold.
I was just wondering if it is safe to take my camera in such a temperature?
Thank You!!! =]

It will be fine. Start out with a full charge on your battery. Last year I went and stuck in in my coat between shots. Have a great time.

Last winter I went out for a walk with my D5000 in the middle of one our storms that dropped 2 ft of snow on the ground. I had a plastic bag to protect it from snow but that was it. After about 2 hrs I had to get in but the camera showed no signs of problems, and 15,000 pictures later it's still going strong.
