the spirit of aloha? I have reservations made, but I am now wondering if they will enjoy the show or grow bored of it. Have any of you taken kids this young to the show and what was their reaction?

I've never been because I literally do not know ANYONE who recommends it. I work with someone who went on her honeymoon last summer and she and her new husband decided to partake liberally of the alcohol b/c the food was so-so and show bad. This girl is so straight-laced normally . . .

We took our 6 year old son and almost 4 year old son to Spirit of Aloha show in July. DS6 loved the show, although he was a little embarassed by the girls! DS3 1/2 enjoyed the food. It was ok. Probably wont do it again for a long time, but it was a nice experience for our boys! :goodvibes

We always like to try new things regardless of what others say of the experience. I think your boys will enjoy the show.

Seriously, I don't know anyone who recommends it either! As an adult, I kind of agree with your co-worker. The show was meh. Food ok. My boys liked it though, so it wasnt a total waste. Its a lot of $$ to risk with so many bad recommendations!

We took my 3 1/2 year old son and my 6 1/2 year old daughter. Both of them liked the show. My son liked the fire twirler guy the best. There's always something going on, I think they would enjoy it. Just a side note, but they also both loved Cirque de Soleil too.

Mine were bored stiff except for the fire twirler guy. The food was bad. The wine was really bad. The show was bad. Honestly, if someone really wants to try it, I would say go for it because we wanted to try it once and have no regrets, but my kids have never asked to return (unlike HDDR which they would like to do every trip!)

We went with my DS when he was 5 and he didn't really enjoy the show. He was a little bored. His drink with the glowing ice cube was more interesting to him truthfully, LOL. But I did enjoy the show personally. The food was bland but we didn't go for the food.

I am glad I didn;t know about all the poor reviews before we went. We went and my dd was 4 and ds 2 and everyone enjoyed it. It was a bit long in my opinion but I would do it again. I want to try everything before I do repeats though so it might be a while

My DS5 loved it and so did we. We thought the food was great and it was a really fun evening we are doing it again this year I hope we get the same experience. i was very nervous when we booked last year becuse of the reviews. I am glad we went we loved it!

It is VERY long, so keep that in mind. There are moments in which they engage children in the audience and invite them to come to the front for dancing and such, so your kids may get a kick out of that. The storyline of being true to oneself is slow-moving and may bore them, but they'd surely be wowed by the fire twirler.

In my honest opinion, though, it's an overpriced, overlong, overly boring waste of time with mediocre food and sloppy service. An absolute 'never again!' for us.
