Please prepare for a whinefest that is quite pathetic....sorry.
I haven't been on here much in the last few days b/c I've been tending to medical stuff with EVERYONE.
When it rains, it pours, they say.
My dh had his surgery on Monday morn for his sleep apnea. Unfortunately, on the same day, DD#2 (1yr)ended up with a fever of 102-103 + vomiting, DD#1 (3yrs) ended up with lots of loose bm's and is miserable. Both girls are also completely off their regular schedule so they're MONSTERS, too.
My dad was supposed to go for an EKG for his heart and apparently they had to stop it b/c they thought he was going to have a stroke.
My mom also was hospitalized for 2+ months earlier this year and is out of work forever and she's not doing so well right now, either.
Fortunately, my wonderful MIL took DH to her house until the girls recover but I'm getting sick now so I can't even go to visit him. It's hotter than hell and everyone isn't feeling well....
I won't even go into all the baskets of laundry that need to be put away plus the girls party that is next weekend that I have NOTHING but hotdogs +hamburgers for...
Ok, my whinefest is over. Thanks for patronizing me.
I wanted to edit to add that DD#1 now has a fever of 102....it just keeps
getting better and better.
I will be standing at our intersection waiting for a truck to come along to run me over...

As the old song says, If not for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. Glad your MIL could at least take DH off your hands while you & the girls have your virus. I know you feel bad, but you'd feel even worse if you gave it to him right after surgery.
