I will be going the week of Nov 4th through the 12th, with Tuesday being Election day and that Thursday being Veterans day. It also seems, so says a coworker, that most schools in the US have teachers convention week or at least part of the week during this time as well, which will then close schools for a few days, possibly prompting families to take a few days off and hit Disney.

Anyone have any experince with vacationing in Disney the week of, Election day, Veteran's day and teahcers convention week?

I think it might be New Jersey Week - and yes it is crowded....

Not like Christmas or Easter - more like spring break week than summer.

The crowds will be Ok for you.

NY & NJ have off for teacher's convention in Atlantic City which takes place on the Thursday and Friday of that second week. DH and I were down in Disney those days last year for the Food and Wine Fest. The middle of the day on Saturday tends to get super crowded, but other than that, we did not feel overwhelmed by crowds. You will have a lot of New Yorkers as company, but no more people in the parks that regular season, I found.

Yeah, but the crowds are manageable. Hope you have a great time!
