Will it be hard to book a trip now for July?

Hi, I'm a new, not-yet-100%-official DVC member. I am thinking of banking most of my 2005 points but taking a quick 5 day trip to WDW in July to check things out. My dates are flexible at this point (as long as it's sun-thurs), but I'm wondering if I'll have difficulty booking a suite at my home resort, BWV. I have a DVC number and just got all my paperwork yesterday, but we still have to get the OK on financing. Can I even make ressies until that's final?

Thanks! :sunny:

I think I've read that people have made ressies as soon as the deposit is confirmed. If you have your membership number, call MS and find out!

Bobbi :)

PS I remember that before we were "official" I asked my guide if something was available for Halloween weekend, we already had ressies at S&D and I wondered if we could have BWV instead. Our answer was "no, it was booked" but maybe you'll be luckier. Ask your guide what's available, if you can't call MS this soon.

If you are flexible on where you stay, you will be able to get a ressie. The smaller resorts may be harder. Good Luck! Congrats and Welcome Home!!!:sunny:

We are new members and we haven't closed yet-I made reservations as soon as I received paperwork. Hope this helps! Angel

I booked a 1 bedroom preferred view at BWV for Sun-Wed July 2th-6th just 10 days ago. They didn't have any studios available for that time at either BWV or BCV. Good Luck.

If you are flexible and can avoid the July 4th timeframe, you'll probably be OK.

Since July is already within the 7-month window, you should call as soon as possible. I believe you can call now since you already have your membership number.

I just called a few weeks ago and got a BCV studio for July 23 - 29th. Call as soon as you can. I don't think you will have a problem getting something.
