will it be crowded or slow

Okay we are going to spend a few days at US/IOA Dec 9th 10th and 11th of this year - which are FRI-SUNday - My ? is Will it be CROWDED or slow?

I have never been in erly Dec, but have been at DW then, and the crowds were light both times, so I imagine it would be the same for US/IOA

I have been early December to both Universal Parks and to WDW..Crowds are very light that time of year. However, weekends there are more people in the parks as local people and weekend trip people are there. Will not be packed like high season weekends would be, but there will always be more people in all parks on saturday and sundays......

I go to either Universal or Disney almost every year during that week. The crowds are very light, but the weather is inconsistent. There have been years where we wore shorts and years that we had to go out and buy turtlenecks, fleece pullovers and gloves and we almost always have at least a couple of days of rain in the morning so bring the ponchos! (Don't buy them in the parks!) However, for us, it's been a good trade off for the lack of lines to get on the rides and attractions. We also love the feel of Christmas with all of the decorations and music!

We've been to Universal at that time. It is very, very quiet!!!

We were just there the first weekend of Dec - it was VERY quiet ! One morning we walked back through the park to try and ride Pteradon (sp?) Flyers (which of course, was under short rehab - when I finally had a kid with me so I could ride !) - anyway, I have pictures of a completely empty park, not another soul around - they were all up front riding Spidey and Hulk! We never saw another guest until we got all the way around to the Lost Continent. Highs were in the 60s - low 70s while we were there - the Xmas decorations were all up, but the Xmas shows/parades, etc didn't start until about the 15th, so we missed that. On our last morning, Sun, we did the character breakfast at Confiscos and there were only about 6 other parties in the whole place - we got lots of character interaction - my little DNeph was in Spidey Heaven !!!

Thanks everyone - we went the friday and saturday after thanksgiving last yaer and friday was brutal Saturday alot better - yet still very crowded - I guess I am wondering will it be like that the following FRI/SAT?
