Will Iron on Transfers work on Polar Fleece?

I want to make my boys long sleeve t-shirts with a DISign on them, but I'm having trouble finding the shirts I want in their sizes. I did find two Polar Fleeces at Walmart that are the right sizes. I'm wondering if the iron-on transfers will work on the Polar Fleece or not. Anyone have any experience? --Katie

Heat and fleece are not going to mix well. The high nap might also make the disign come out all lumpy. Have you checked online? Jiffy shirts has tons of shirts & sweatshirts that you might use instead. Their prices aren't bad & depending on where you live shipping is crazy fast. I just placed an order around 11am Monday & received it from UPS at 10am on Tuesday.

I have personally not tried it on anything like this - but someone using my transfers tried them on a micro fleece vest and fleece zipup jacket.

They said that they worked for them. They used the medium wool setting on their iron and ironed for 3 minutes.

Theirs were a polyester/poly blend. I hope this helps.
