Will I somehow lose my booked FP+ if I change my booked resort?

We are booked at YC CL and to save 1000 bucks, we are considering switching to a mod for this trip. If I make the resort switch, will my FP+ reservations disappear? Stranger things have happened - I just don't want to make a dumb move!

Just a few days ago I had a similar situation (resort change - same resort, changed dates and room) and had no issues.

We changed our resort reservation to add an extra day and because our original room view was not available on the additional day, they had to change the overall reservation to change our room view. That way we would not have to move rooms. So dates of stay and room view changed.

I was concerned about it impacting FP+ and ADRs - even our BOG Lunch FP! - but the agent said since we were keeping the same reservation numbers, only changing resort details, there should be no impact. And she was right! All our FP+, ADRs and our BOG FP lunch remained as is with no impact. Only thing that changed was the resort detail record in MDE.

I assume similar to us that as long as your reservation number remains the same, all should be ok.
