Will I lose my park reservations?

We planned on staying onsite and have our park reservations for October already made. We have decided to rent a home instead to accommodate more people, so I will cancel my package. When I cancel my Disney package will my park reservations cancel as well? Or will they be good since I will have tickets purchased and linked? I am worried about losing my park reservations especially since we have MK reserved on Halloween. TIA!

I *believe* you will lose your reservations, maybe not immediately BUT I've read on these boards (as well as several others) that Disney has closed that loophole and has systematically canceled Park reservations that were initially made as part of a package or by a resort Guest, but then the guest canceled the room without rebooking their reservation in the "Theme Park Only" bucket.
If this were me, I would see if there is availability in the Ticket-Only bucket, and if not maybe spend a while on hold and see if the CM's can change it for you.. HOWEVER, when you call in, the automated announcement clearly says that the Cast Members can not make or change reservations if they are not available on the online reservation portal.. so it would be unexpected if they were able to change them for you, and as always with these things, YRMV.

I don't believe October is full yet and most days besides the 1st are open. Double check all that than swap and see what happens worst case you just need to remake them.

As long as you link the new tickets before you cancel your package, your park reservations should stay.

If you have other tickets already in your account, the theme park reservations shouldn't auto-cancel. Just be sure to link those tickets before cancelling the package.
