I'm not sure if this question is where it should be but I had originally booked a pkg with Disney now an even better deal has come up through my TA which I booked this morning. Am I going to lose anything when I cancel with Disney?

If you booked your airfare through Disney (if you have airfare) they will cancel that and it is likely that the airfare is non-refundable. But I think as long as you're outside the 45 days you will get your whole deposit back (minus airfare). If you're within the 45 days, then I think there is a $50 fee, but I could be incorrect.

If you have booked with the Walt Disney Travel Company and you opted for the vacation insurance then the portion of the cost associated with that insurance will not be refundable. Otherwise all will be returned to you, that's what a CM told a friend of mine when they cancelled recently. They cancelled on Monday and the credit was back on their credit card (minus 50 something for the insurance) today I'm told.
