Will I like the Swan?

OK all you Swan fans please convince me! I've stayed at the Yacht Club before (very nice but been there seen it done) and Beach Club (too many children for my adult only trip). I've never been too keen on the Boardwalk Inn so my option for a change is the Swan or Dolphin, I personally think the Dolphin is too big so I'm thinking of the Swan (club level) - do you think I will be disappointed?

We loved the swan. It seems more for adults, the rooms are large and pretty. We had a view of the water launch and the swan. We loved the lights at night and the transportation. I would definitely stay there again if I wasn't addicted to POP.

Long answer: Definitely stay at the Swan. Live it. Love it.

My DW and I loved the Swan also...it's the only time we haven't stayed at a Disney-run hotel and our experience was terrific. In our opinion, there's a HUGE difference between Swan and Dolphin in the feeling you get in the lobby and general premises. The Swan is much more intimate and quieter, and yet you have all the restaurants etc of the Dolphin just a palm-lined walkway away (I walked that walkway many times for the Starbuck's Coffee in the Dolphin fast-food place).

Add to that the wonderful location, TRULY "Heavenly Beds", and the value (for us anyway the room was lots cheaper than the Disney Deluxes but every bit as Deluxe), and it added up to a great stay. Go and enjoy!

Both the Swan and Dolphin are spectacular hotels, having stayed at both during our last four visits. Can't beat the location and the ammenities for the money.

We are DVC members and have stayed at a dvc resort ever since we bought 1994, but we rented out our points for xmas 2003-4 and stayed at Swan with teachers rate on club level and it was fantastic. Great cm's cl had wonderful staff and great food offerings. Wonderful restaurants between dolphin and swan(loved Fresh and Dolphin ice cream place). Swan is smaller and more comfortable for us. It is no less Disney than any place! Have a great time!

We just got back yesterday from POFQ and all I kept telling DH was how I so miss staying at the S/D. I LOVE this hotel and even though we had a Great time at POFQ stay with the S/D because you will Love it there! I could go on forever on the Plusses but those Heavenly Beds say it all! Hope this Helps.

I have stayed at the Swan several years ago and I was not impressed. It seemed to me to be a very expensive motel room. I stayed at the Hotel Royal Plaza and enjoyed it more. But that is just me.
