It completely depends....
It is a buffet - and a large and fairly crowded one. The restaurant (while not the Whispering Canyon) is not exactly subdued. You may or may not love buffets, or you may be annoyed by them. Likewise, the noise level may be up your alley, or you may prefer something quieter.
The food is plentiful - and there is plenty to try. Lots of soups, salads and grain dishes (but decent buffet salmon, flank steak, etc - and try the bobatie at the "meat" station). Some with unusual flavors. Its best if you are the type who is a little adventurous, although they do have mac n cheese and chicken fingers. The shear number of choices may be overwhelming to some.
A good selection on the dessert buffet - including the famous zebra domes (I was underwhelmed, but seem to be the exception).
We are glad we went, but won't go out of our way to return. For one thing, of all the restuarants we've been to, this one is the most out of the way (unless, of course, you are an AKL guest).
