Will I have enough time to get to Dinner?

We will be at MGM studios the day we have a 5pm reservation for 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella. This will be our first time here so I'm not sure. We really want to see the Stars and Motor cars parade which is at 3:30 that day, will we have enough time to watch the parade and get to the Grand Floridian in time. Oh, we will have a car too. How long do the parades usaully last? Thanks!

Yes, you can make it.

Virtually all the WDW parades are approx. 15-20 minutes long.

Waste no time leaving after the parade.
Once you get to your car, the drive from MGM to Grand Floridian will take about 25-30 minutes or so (including getting out of the parking lot).

Drive carefully, and have FUN!

I think you should make it. I would get a spot near the entrance/exit (by Sid's), as this is where the parade ends. This way you're right at the exit and can leave the park quickly. If you are renting a stroller there, I would return it before the parade. This way you can head straight out the exit and to the bus.

Be aware that self parking at the GF is miles away from the entrance. Plan on a long hike or valet park.

Agreed.
But please be careful when giving info like this. Someone may think that "miles away" is meant literally.

It is certainly quite a bit farther away from the entrance than using Valet, but it is not a prohibitive distance, especially in "Disney-walking" terms.

Tip:Have DH drop you and the kids off and then park. Saves time and steps (for you and kids)!!! Poor DH though!!! This way if you're concerned about time you can also check in, it's immediately to the left when you enter the GF. Or like someone mentioned, you can pay for valet.
