Will I have any problems with this?

We are staying at OKW and even though we have the dining plan I still want to bring along some of the staple items of my kids diets so that we can have breakfast in the room most mornings.

I want to bring along packages of premade bacon (doesn't need refrigeration), frozen waffles (which will be fine defrosted), DS#1's special butter and some dry goods. We have a small sized soft sided cooler on wheels (much smaller than alot of the roller boards I see on planes) I was thinking that I could just pack this up and take it as one of our carry-ons. There is nothing that would leak as nothing is a liquid product and we won't be using any ice packs (as I assume that those are a big no-no.)

I would to a delivery service but they are very expensive and don't have everything that we would need. We won't have a car as we are using ME so a grocery run is out of the question (and renting a car for one day would negate the savings anyway.)

So, does anyone think that this wouldn't work? I am a regular traveller but for business so obviously I'm not bringing along any frozen waffles :rotfl: I'll give SW a call but I thought I would check here first :)

Well, SW answered my question. I can take this onboard with a sealed refrigerant such as dry ice or the gel packs (no more than 4.4 lbs of the refrigerant.) The SW rep aslo said that everything should be placed in ziploc bags to prevent leakage.

I am so happy this is going to work out!!!
